Global Macroeconomic Analysis


Internship Description:
The IIF is seeking a highly motivated graduate student to support its global macroeconomic research. This unpaid internship offers an excellent opportunity to develop applied research skills in international economics and finance. Working hours and start date are flexible. Responsibilities include conducting applied economic research on current macroeconomic and financial developments in advanced and emerging economies; helping to prepare reports, charts and tables; and contributing to the production of the IIF’s economic forecasts. Qualifications:
Successful candidates will be enrolled in a Master’s program in Economics, Finance, Statistics or a related field. Must be fluent in English. Strong computer and quantitative skills, especially in Excel, are absolutely essential. Experience with data providers such as Bloomberg or Datastream would be an advantage.  The approximate internship period is from late May to late August.  During this period, the successful candidate will be available for four days or more per week.
